Based on the preferences provided by your travel consultant, we have prepared an itinerary for your upcoming trip. We hope it meets your expectations; if not, please let us know, and we will be happy to make any necessary revisions to suit your budget, travel style, and preferences. Before reviewing your suggested itinerary, please consider the following information about this proposal and the services you will receive during your stay:
- Draft and Customization: This is a draft itinerary, and further customization is possible based on your requests. Please provide feedback to your travel consultant, and we will tailor the trip to reflect your ideas and wishes.
- Pricing: The price provided is based on the inclusions listed in the "INCLUSIONS" section and current availability. No reservations are held until we receive the required deposit to secure your booking. If the current pricing exceeds your budget, please discuss it with your agent. Adjustments to rooms, hotels, transfers, tours, and guides can be made to meet your desired budget.
- Concierge Service: By booking this trip, you will have access to a personal 24/7 concierge service for assistance throughout your journey. The concierge offers flexibility to adjust the itinerary on the spot, add activities, and provide restaurant recommendations and reservations. They will ensure your trip runs smoothly by pre-checking your hotels and transfers. In case of any delays, the concierge will inform you in advance. Your concierge will be assigned 30 days before your arrival, and you can contact them before your trip to ask questions or simply get acquainted.
- Transfers: Private car transfers are conducted with vehicles no older than two years, and all drivers speak English. Refreshments are available in all vehicles, and most offer complimentary Wi-Fi.
- Guides: All our guides are licensed, carefully selected, and have passed our internal vetting and training processes, ensuring you receive the best possible guidance in each location. They are fluent in your language.
- Accommodation: All offered accommodations have been pre-checked by our team to ensure that both the rooms and the service meet our high standards, providing you with the best possible hospitality during your stay.
- Priority Services: When availability permits, we will arrange priority check-in and late check-out for our guests. This is subject to availability, but we will strive to provide this service whenever possible.

Discover Pula’s rich history and major landmarks on this private, 2-hour guided tour. Explore the ancient city’s most important monuments and immerse yourself in its Roman heritage. Your local guide will take you to the impressive Roman amphitheater, the Arch of the Sergii, and the Temple of Augustus, one of the best-preserved Roman temples outside Italy.
As you walk through Pula, you’ll also visit Forum Square, the City Hall, the Gates of Hercules, the Twin Gates, and Tito’s Park, among other highlights. Learn about local culture, food, and Croatian traditions as you experience this living museum of Roman history.

RESERVATIONS
All reservations can be made through our booking agents, who can be reached VIA CROATIA email at [email protected], by filling out the contact form on our website, or by calling the official phone number listed on the website.
DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENTS
The initial quote and offer are free. For any additional changes, a non-refundable deposit of $200 may be required. Upon confirmation, this deposit will be applied towards the final payment. If the trip is not confirmed, we reserve the right to retain the deposit for the time spent on adjustments.
The final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Failure to receive the final payment by this date may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of the deposit. In the event of billing errors, we reserve the right to re-invoice with correct pricing. Additionally, we reserve the right to adjust the final price if there are significant changes in the currency exchange rate (more than 1.5% compared to EUR).
If a booking is confirmed 61 days or more before departure, a 20% deposit is required to secure services. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to departure.
CREDIT CARDS
We accept major credit cards. Charges will be processed upon submission of a completed form, which includes the necessary information.
RETURNED CHECKS
A fee of $30 will be charged for any returned checks.
REVISION FEE
A revision fee of $30 per transaction applies for alterations or revisions. Changes to the tour date or itinerary within 60 days of departure will be treated as a cancellation and a new booking; regular cancellation fees will apply.
CANCELLATIONS AND CANCELLATION FEES
Cancellations must be advised in writing to VIA CROATIA. Per person cancellation fees are as follows:
- Land Custom Trips:
61+ days prior: 20% deposit (non-refundable after payment)
60 days prior: 80% balance (non-refundable after payment)
Once paid, both the deposit and balance payments are non-refundable.
- Charters:
50% non-refundable deposit upon confirmation
50% balance due 90 days before arrival
Once paid, both the deposit and balance payments are non-refundable.
If booking is confirmed 60 days or less before arrival, full payment is required. Optional tours cannot be refunded after purchase. Refunds take up to 30 days to process. VIA CROATIA is not responsible for additional costs or fees related to the issuance or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements not made through VIA CROATIA.
In cases of force majeure (pandemics, fires, earthquakes, etc.), VIA CROATIA is not liable for non-delivered services and is not legally obliged to refund deposits. However, we will make every effort to re-book travelers within 365 days.
We strongly advise taking out travel insurance to cover any potential health issues or cancellations.
REFUNDS FOR UNUSED SERVICES
No refunds will be made for unused services once travel arrangements have commenced. Additionally, no refunds will be issued for services canceled within 30 days prior to the start of the trip.
SERVICE COMPLAINTS
All complaints must be submitted in writing to VIA CROATIA within 30 days after the service was used. Complaints received after this period will not be considered.
PASSPORTS & VISAS
A valid passport is required for all tour participants, valid for six months after the date of return. Non-US citizens should consult the appropriate consulates for visa requirements. It is the responsibility of participants to secure any necessary visas.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Tour members should check with consulates and local health boards for the latest health requirements.
TRAVELERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Any disabilities requiring special attention must be reported during booking. VIA CROATIA will make efforts to accommodate special needs.
YOUNG TOUR PARTICIPANTS
Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Discounts may apply depending on age.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Confirmed hotels will be used as listed. Check-in is usually available after 3 p.m. Early check-ins/outs depend on availability and may incur extra charges. Claims about accommodations must be made during check-in.
AIR-CONDITIONING
Air-conditioning conditions differ from the United States. VIA CROATIA will state the working condition of air-conditioning in each hotel.
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN PROGRAM PRICE
Items included in the program price are paid in advance. Optional items are not included unless specified as an obligatory extra charge, such as tourist tax.
SAFETY
Participation in tours operated by VIA CROATIA involves certain risks and dangers. VIA CROATIA is not liable for medical care or adequacy of care. We will use our best efforts to ensure adequate measures are taken.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS
We use Stripe Pay Way, which employs modern data protection standards. Travel insurance is not included but is recommended. Travel insurance packages include health, accident, baggage, and trip cancellation insurance.
LEGISLATIVE
Croatian law applies to this contract. The Municipal Court in Zlatar, Republic of Croatia, has jurisdiction over disputes.
DAMAGE
VIA CROATIA is not responsible for damage caused by passengers’ behavior or third-party acts or omissions.
COVID-19 FLEXIBLE BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Due to COVID-19, deposits are fully refundable if travelers are unable to enter the country due to border closures. Bookings can be re-booked without penalty 60 days prior to arrival. Flexible booking terms are in effect until the pandemic is officially over.
